Volunteer & Foster

The haven runs on helping hands

Sixty-plus animals eat, drink, and need care every single day — and a small family does most of it. Whatever time or talent you have, there’s a job for it here.

Ways to Help

Pick your lane

Clint, a grey rescued donkey, in the corral

Volunteer

Feeding, mucking, grooming, fence work, and the most important job of all — helping shy rescues learn that people can be kind.

A white orphan filly, one of the haven's bottle-raised rescues

Foster

Open your barn or pasture to a rescue while they heal or wait for adoption. We stay involved the whole way.

Snowman, a white rescued donkey

Fundraise & Spread the Word

Host a drive, rally your workplace, or just share our animals’ stories — every follow and share finds them new friends.

Costs nothing to help: vote for Circle H Haven in the MyGivingCircle grant program and follow us on TikTok and Facebook.

Report an equine in need

We take reports around the clockNeglected, abandoned, or starving horses, donkeys, and livestock in West Texas — call or message us and we’ll do everything we can.
Surrenders welcome, no judgmentIf you can’t care for an equine anymore, talk to us before the auction does. That’s exactly what the haven is for.
Volunteer Application

Tell us how you’d like to help

Our rescue relies on compassionate people to help care for the animals and support the mission — no experience needed for most of it. Minors can volunteer only when directly supervised by a parent or guardian, and only for barn cleanup. Questions first? Call or text (817) 823-1732.

The volunteer application

It’s short: your name, phone and email, how you’d like to help, and when you’re free. About two minutes on your phone.

Opens our application form in a new tab. We’ll get back to you and set up a first visit so you can see the place and meet everybody — two-legged and four.
